Tibetan Spaniel

Here is another small toy dog from Tibet which has become quite fashionable. These dogs are related to that most famous of all Asiatic breeds, the Pekingese, of which some authorities believe them to be the ancestors. They are bred in a wide variety of colours, and it will be seen from our picture that the legs and jaws are more normal than those of the Pekingese, and the eyes less protuberant.

The cards illustrated are all scans of the original vintage cards ... they originally came in cigarette packets each card is of a standard size: approx 1½ x 2¾ inches the descriptions on the back were often duplicated or reproduced with little variation.
