Breeds of dogs originating in over a dozen different countries may be found in this series, and the one here illustrated comes from Finland. The Finnish Spitz is an example of the many recently introduced foreign breeds which are making headway in this country by sheer merit. He is a strong little dog, trained to the gun in his own country, and not the least of his attractions is his thick, richly coloured coat.
