The Schnauzer is a very popular dog on the Continent. He is of the terrier type, having all the courage and liveliness associated with that race of dogs. When the ears are full grown, as in English specimens, the terrier affinity is clearly seen, but the ears are likely to have been cropped in specimens from abroad, a custom forbidden by law over here. This remark applies perhaps still more strongly to the Boxer.

each card is of a standard size: approx 1½ x 2¾ inches
the descriptions on the back were often duplicated or reproduced with little variation.
