More than one variety of hairless dog has been shown in this country, and odd specimens have been obtained all over the world. The terriers shown here came from Africa, though Mexico is a more common country of origin. Some specimens brought from Abyssinia were of a ruddy flesh-pink colour, and others have had tufts of hair on the head. There is however, probably no distinct breed in which hairless-ness is a universal characteristic.
